Surveys were returned by pilots flying out of 8 operational bases. A general
linear models procedure (ANOVA) analysis showed a significant relationship
between operational base and the structure of the responses to attitude probes
11 (p< .01) and 12 (p< .03). To test more carefully for the relationship
between particular bases and these probes, Scheffe's test of pairwise
relations was
performed on the bases and attitude probes 11 and 12. In this pairwise
comparison of bases, there were no significant differences in the responses to
these attitude probes.
